Child Safety Standards

Last updated: June 2026

Yamado is a hyperlocal app where people ask and answer questions about real-world places. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The safety of minors is a top priority, and the conduct described below is strictly prohibited on Yamado.

Reporting and our response

Anyone can report suspected child-safety violations directly inside the Yamado app (the "Report" action on any post or user profile) or by emailing us at info@yamado.co.

We review reports promptly. When we identify CSAM or credible child-safety threats, we remove the content, take action on the responsible account (including removal), preserve relevant data as required by law, and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate regional and national authorities.

Compliance

Yamado complies with applicable child-safety laws and cooperates with law enforcement and child-protection authorities. We align our practices with the standards published by Google Play and the Apple App Store for combating child sexual abuse and exploitation.
